Altama Desert Boots

Altama Delta Corporation was founded as a subsidiary of Wellco Enterprises in 1969 in Darien, Ga. Originally a children's shoe plant, the facility was converted for military boot production for Vietnam.

Throughout the USA middle eastern affairs they produced the Atlama desert combat boot for the US military.  The Altama military boot was known for its durability and quality.  Today many US soldiers ask for the Altama desert boot by name.

Altama today designs, manufactures, imports, sells and distributes 18 different styles of combat foot wear. They typically service police, military or other service industries with up to 133 different sizes. Nearly 50% of their production today is for commercial purposes.

For over 35 years, Altama has produced Altama Mil Spec footwear for military personnel worldwide. Not only does Altama service the US military but has branched out to over 70 other countries as well.
